Breakfast

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I don’t get up early enough to enjoy a good one at home so I decided to make and freeze a bunch of stuff that I could take to work and reheat.

Burritos Breakfast Burritos

Breakfast Burritos were tasty. I filled these with different combinations of sausage, bacon, green onions and cheese.

Egg Muffins

So were the Egg Muffins with bacon or sausage and cheese. Baked the eggs in a muffin tin and they came out just the right size for the English muffin.

Unfortunately, I’ve run out. Oh dear, guess I’ll have to head on over to Pinterest to find some more breakfast in a muffin tin recipes, what a shame!

Jamie McFarlane, author

I’ve just finished beta reading Cutpurse, a novella in the Privateer Tales series by Jamie McFarlane. On the same day that I sent over my notes on Cutpurse, I received my signed copy of Smuggler’s Dilemma.

I can’t tell you what a thrill it is to be involved in the production of these stories. Working with the author, giving my opinion on content, and my fave — pointing out typos that drive me absolutely nuts when reading e-books.

I also like showing the mini-men my name in the books, sorta reinforces the whole reading is important thang.

Have you read any good books lately?

Slippers

Had another wonderful wet felting class and pot luck with Jonatha Foli the other day. Small group of women, great food, great fun, great results. (And a bonus foot massage too!)

Used a clothes dryer instead of rolling for this project, boy howdy did that make it a whole lot easier. Definitely can’t do this by myself without a shoe last though, it takes a lot of work directly on the foot. I’m now one step closer to making a pair of boots. Woo hoo!
